I’ve never been disappointed with a meal at the midtown Greek restaurant, Milos, and the streak continues. My husband and I picked out a clear-eyed beauty of a John Dory on our visit and simply grilled in lemon and olive oil, it was, perhaps, the best piece of fish I have ever eaten.
Milos brilliantly does all the classics; Greek salad, octopus, lamb, Greek potatoes, couscous and one of my favorite sides, fava beans.
Though they have an extensive wine list, I usually order the crisp and citrusy Assyrtiko which goes equally well with fish and lamb.
The space is vast, the service excellent and the food fresh, simple and superb. The only downside is the price which, even for Manhattan, is on the higher end.
