Margot 45 Great Queen Street Covent Garden, London WC2B 5AA www.margotrestaurant.com
Covent Garden is our London ‘neighborhood’. It has proximity to the theaters, tons of great restaurants and lots of fun things to do.
Though only open for a couple of months, Margot is a lovely, elegant addition to Covent Garden that runs like a clock.
Upon being seated we were served wonderfully crunchy breadsticks that seemed 3 feet tall.
I had a creamy burrata from Puglia followed by a house made Casarecce pasta floating in a puree of Jerusalem artichoke and completely blanketed in paper thin black truffles—heavenly!
My husband’s octopus appetizer and tuna filet were also excellent.
Great service, terrific food, a sizeable wine list and a great location make Margot a lovely new jewel in the crown of Covent Garden.
